(FAIRFIELD COUNTY MUSIC REPORTER) —
BAD MANNERZ is the band that has you covered.... classic rock...get down and dirty modern rock....and dance music....It's a WIN, WIN!
It's Good to Have BAD MANNERZ...the band, that is! BAD MANNERZ was founded on October 10, 2013 and they are based in North Haven. BAD MANNERZ is a classic and modern rock cover band that does not disappoint. BAD MANNERZ performed on the outdoor patio of Tony's Huntington Inn on Sunday, September 13, 2015. The band had an excellent setlist of mellow rock songs and played right up until the minute the rain started when they literally had to go unplugged. However, for two and half hours it was one of the most enjoyable afternoons of one of the final weekends of summer!
The musicians are ALL long standing, experienced musicians and vocalists and in the three years-- this October-- that they have been together, they were already voted to the finals for the CT Music Awards for Top Cover Tribute band. The band members are manager -- WILLIAM KOPF (guitarist/vocalist) and his wife DEBBIE KOPF (lead female vocalist, small percussion instruments), RON BRASILE (drums/vocals), STEVE CAPOZZI (guitar/ vocals,) RON CIABURRI on bass.
The vocals had noticeably good harmonies and the songs that afternoon were brought back good memories of the 60's, 70's, 80's. The songs selected gave everyone in the band a chance to shine on vocals or instrument solos. Debbie was strong on Girl Power songs like Pat Benatar's, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," Ron Brasile soloed on "Sittin" on the Dock of the Bay" and so many other wonderful versions of songs like Dire Straits,, "The Sultan," and "California Dreamin'" "Wanderer"…"She's Not There," "Take It Easy,""Run Around Sue," Day Tripper," Eight Days a Week," and "Hotel California"-- ALL added to a pleasant, enjoyable S summer Sunday afternoon of fun. Let me be clear about another point about this band, they do not just do low key sets because they can revv up the rock n roll with heavier songs from groups like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin where they get down and dirty. Plus, they play great dance music.

BAD MANNERZ performed at the Windmill on July 10, 2021. The band has an excellent setlist of mellow rock songs . When we arrived the band played Tom Petty's "American Girl." Roadhouse Blues" by the Doors and "Little Sister" ; songs by Bad Company, Blake Shelton, The Beatles, Doobie Brothers and so many more.
The musicians are ALL long standing, experienced musicians and vocalists and -- they were voted to the finals for the CT Music Awards for Top Cover Tribute band several years ago.
The band members are manager -- WILLIAM KOPF (guitarist/vocalist) and his wife DEBBIE KOPF ( vocals, small percussion instruments), RON BRASILE (drums/vocals), STEVE CAPOZZI aka "Rocco" (guitar/ vocals,) RON CIABURRI on bass and JORDAN WEST lead male vocalist, guitarist, harp player and front man. Subbing on drums for Ron Brasile was JIM VIRGULTO from the Gear Junkies and Wango Tango Bands. This Saturday CARL GENT will be subbing for JORDAN WEST.
The vocals had good harmonies and songs that bring back nostalgic memories of the 60's, 70's, 80's. The songs selected gave everyone in the band a chance to shine on vocals or instrument solos. Let me be clear about another point about this band, they do not just do low key sets because they can revv up the rock n roll with heavier songs from groups like ACDC, Motley Crew, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin where they get down and dirty. Plus, they play great dance music.

It's Good to Have BAD MANNERZ...the band, that is! BAD MANNERZ was founded on October 10, 2013 and they are based in North Haven. BAD MANNERZ is a classic and modern rock cover band that does not disappoint. BAD MANNERZ performed on the outdoor patio of Tony's Huntington Inn on Sunday, September 13, 2015. The band had an excellent setlist of mellow rock songs and played right up until the minute the rain started when they literally had to go unplugged. However, for two and half hours it was one of the most enjoyable afternoons of one of the final weekends of summer!

Debbie was strong on Girl Power songs like Pat Benatar's, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," Ron Brasile soloed on "Sittin" on the Dock of the Bay" and so many other wonderful versions of songs like Dire Straits,, "The Sultan," and "California Dreamin'" "Wanderer"…"She's Not There," "Take It Easy,""Run Around Sue," Day Tripper," Eight Days a Week," and "Hotel California"-- ALL added to a pleasant, enjoyable S summer Sunday afternoon of fun.
